Abstract: The present final project consists in analyzing the criticality level of the power switches of the Coronel Oviedo Station of the ANDE, with the objective of establishing in a more efficient way the prioritization of maintenance programs and plans, at the same time is intended to control the work through a maintenance manual oriented to the most critical equipment, in this way it seeks to improve the operational reliability of the system and achieve safe working conditions. To achieve the objective set, a data survey was carried out on fourteen 220 kV power switches that fulfill different functions within the station. With the data obtained from the history of the book of novelties of the station, in a period of four years, a criticality analysis was carried out in which first scores were awarded to the different criteria obtained according to the literature consulted, and to the existing configuration of the local, then enter the results in a matrix proposed in the Norsok Z-013 standard, whose result threw a switch in the high criticality zone. The analysis carried out led to decision-making and the choice of types of maintenance to be applied, for which a manual based on standards and recommendations, adaptable to the company's policy and directed towards the most critical power switch, was developed. such a way to guarantee a safe and quality work on the equipment. This manual will allow to standardize the process and synthesize the procedures that will be very helpful to the company's staff. Finally, the economic evaluation was performed where the estimated costs of the different types of maintenance that will be applied to the equipment in question were calculated, in a period of time recommended by standards, manufacturers and technicians.
